I must be one of the last few foodies who have not paid a visit to Pacamara Boutique Coffee Roaster Singapore, but I am finally here! My sis always raves about how good the food is and she decided to bring me here to try it out.
If you have been to Pacamara before, you would know that they have an extensive collection of sodas for you to choose from. The Belvoir Presse Cox Apple Soda ($5.50), made with organic pressed apple juice and no sugar added, was put forth by the staff as the best in his opinion. The little apple bits and natural sweetness made it easy to see why this drink came highly recommended. By the way, sis had the Iced White Coffee ($5.50), featured in the picture before.
The only dish that did not really impress was the Mid Wings ($8). This appetiser is available all day, except during the intermission which I believe is from 4 to 5pm. During this period of time, they are preparing for the dinner crowd, hence no food orders are taken. The wings while not tasteless were not very mouthwatering either.
Sis’s Crab Nicoise Salad ($15). A very reasonable price for such an abundance of crab rump and mesclum mix. The salad comes with olives, cherry tomatoes, haricot beans topped with free range poached egg and lemon honey mustard.
French Toast ($16.90) from their Day Menu, available from 9am to 4pm. It is served with caramelised apple chutney, fresh berries, crushed hazelnuts with rum & raisin ice cream. This is hands down the best french toast I have ever had! The toast was soft and fluffy and was a delight with the warm apple chutney. And if you want a change, the ice cream offers a cooling and heavenly alternative.
