As with the many restaurants and hotels celebrating SG50 (Singapore’s fiftieth birthday), Brizo Restaurant & Bar at Park Hotel Clarke Quay has introduced a ‘Taste of Singapura’ buffet, featuring seafood dishes and local delights. Available every Wednesday to Sunday evenings (6.30 to 10.30pm) from now till 30 September 2015, the buffet also carries the restaurant’s signature crab dishes.
The prices of the buffet is as follows:
- Wednesday and Thursday: $58++
- Friday to Sunday: $68++
- Children age six to 12 years old dine at half price
The seafood part of the buffet spread offers distinctive local flavours like Singapore-Style Chilli Crab, Salted Egg Crayfish, Tiger Prawns in Fragrant Cereal and Fish Head Curry. There are also mantou (fried buns), prawn crackers and assorted pappadum to go along with the seafood.
Not forgetting the an extensive range of fresh seafood on ice, from Canadian oysters to flower crabs and tiger prawns.
The buffet also boasts a local appetiser section such as achar, fruit rojak, shrimp wantons and Gado Gado,
Also, each table will be served with a platter of local finger foods and the day’s appetisers were Kueh Pie Tee (vegetables and prawns in a crispy shell, a popular Peranakan dish), Epok Epok (curry puff with sardine), Indian Samosa and Otah Otah.
There is also a DIY noodles station! The noodles of the day is Curry Prawn Noodles and you can add in as many crab sticks, prawns and fishcakes as you like.
The dessert spread has a array of kuehs, cakes and desserts in shot glasses. Do not forget their Durian Pengat!
